From the VotesPA.com website: In his Gettysburg Address, Abraham Lincoln called democracy “government of the people, by the people and for the people.” It means that we are not here to serve our government, but that our government is here to serve us — and we have the right to decide who will represent us and how we want to be represented.(emphasis added).
Election Day is November 8, 2011 and we believe that the above concept has been forgotten by members of the Robinson Township Board of Commissioners and the Montour School Board of Directors. Our endorsed candidates believe that, if elected, their role is to serve the residents of Robinson Township and the Montour School District to provide the highest level of services and education for our residents and students. We ask that you visit your polling place on November 8, 2011 and vote for our endorsed candidates for Robinson Township Commissioner and Montour School District Board of Directors. The polls are open from 7 am until 8 pm. We look forward to seeing you there.
